Michael Colby to be Cencorp's New Vice President of Sales in Americas

	Cencorp Corporation, a global a leader of laser and industrial automation solutions, announced today it has hired Michael Colby to the position of Vice President of Sales, Americas. Mr. Colby has been working in the SMT / electronic manufacturing industry for nearly 20 years in various sales, sales management, marketing and business development roles. Mr. Colby will be responsible for strengthening Cencorp’s business within the Americas by directing and overseeing activities of the sales team through leadership, training and sales support. In addition, Mike will be responsible to build market position by locating, developing, negotiating, and closing new business relationships, manage key customer account activities and contribute with executive management in establishing strategic business, market, and product plans.
Mike’s previous roles have included: Chief Sales Officer, Director of Sales, Strategic Account Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Account Executive and Product Manager; he has a B.A. from DePauw University and an MBA in Business Management from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
