Henrikki Pantsar (Ph.D) to be Cencorp’s New R&D Director
Cencorp Corporation strengths its position as a technology leader in laser integration and automation development with the appointment of Henrikki Pantsar (36) as Cencorp’s new Director of Research and Development. Dr. Pantsar will
report to the CEO of Cencorp.
Before joining Cencorp Corporation, Dr. Pantsar worked at Fraunhofer USA, Inc.where he was responsible for planning, budgeting, executing and reporting of laser projects.Fraunhofer USA, Inc., is the daughter company of Europe’s largest research institute focused onapplied reached. Before joining Fraunhofer, Dr. Pantsar worked as aTechnical Research Center of Finland. Henrikki Pantsar holds a Doctor of Science degree fromLappeenranta University of Technology in Lappeenranta, Finland. The topic of his Doctors thesiswas “Models for Laser Transformation Har technical papers and has lectured and chaired laser conferences in Europe and the United States. Dr. Pantsar received the Henry Granjon Prize of the International Institute of Welding in 2006.
Dr. Pantsar has over 10 years experience in developing industrial laser materials processing
applications. In addition, he has experience in laser technology development, especially in the field
of solar cell, advanced battery manufacturing and electronics component.
